New team. IMPACT – Intelligent Machine Perception is a new research group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC) spanning the Czech Technical University in Prague and the French computer science institute (INRIA) in Paris. The position is in Prague but includes the possibility of extended stays at Inria Willow team in Paris.

And after? Our students and postdocs went on to Adobe, Amazon,  DeepMind, Facebook or Microsoft,  created start-ups such as deepomatic.com, regaind.io or capturingreality.com, or continued academic research at UC Berkeley, ETH Zurich or MIT.

Requirements. We are looking for strongly motivated candidates with interest in computer vision, machine learning and robotics. Strong background in applied mathematics and excellent programming skills are required. For postdocs we require a proven track-record of publications at the top computer vision, machine learning or robotics conferences/journals such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NIPS, ICML, IJCV, TPAMI or JMLR.
